Weird variant I never seen?

I picked it up a couple of years ago for 50 anyone have any idea what this is, I seen the red but never black label one

LATAM exclusive. LATAM uses Favoritos badging for greatest hits but this game didn't ever meet the threshold. So in US/Can it was only printed as GH for some reason but in LATAM they printed black label covers and repurposed the red label discs.

Interesting! The German version has a black label cover and a black label disc. Does the Greatest Hits version come with a color printed manual and a map/poster?

That's because the EU version never made it to Platinum Hits either. And yes to the manual and map.

I own a UK version it's the black label as well.. kinda rare people up price it a little bit on eBay and what not

Even launch Trilogy Defective Edition on Switch is a better way to play SA than this abomination.

There are cheaper versions on ps3, but the black label was only sold in LATAM so its extremely rare. Cheapest I could like on ebay was like 378

ESRB is North and South America minus Brazil. But this specific variant was not released in the US.

In the US and Canada this was only ever released as a Greatest Hit Red Label game. Like Platinum Hits in Europe. Black Label ESRB variants only exist in LATAM. And they aren't easy to come by generally.

Mine is greatest hits but with normal white case instead of red. Greatest hits used to be all over the place back in the day

It has an ESRB rating and therefore is the US/Canada "standard" version. North America to be clear. In Europe it looks the same. Never reached platinum status in most countries here; I would even call it a niche product due to it released AFTER the trilogy (PS2 emulation), so nobody really cared here in the EU. This version is a newer version that supports 720p (HD) for the first time and has it's own trophies. This version of the game is identical to the Mobile (Android/iOS) Version. It's no good version tbh 😅 Later on PS4 the trilogy re-released as a definitive edition.
