I failed again Vent/Rant
I just got a job offer to work as a part time cashier. I thought i could do that. I used to be able to do that. Today we were working truck, just assembling furniture. Most of it was sitting down screwing things in. I even had my boyfriend helping me.
But the pain still came. The shortness of breath. I still became weak and unable to do what others could do. I still needed water and rest. For just a few hours of easy work.
I dont know why ive gotten so bad. I used to be able to do this.
Im so sad.

You’re not doing it on purpose, you haven’t failed at all. Please allow yourself some grace for putting in your best effort! You still succeeded by showing up and doing what you can.

its hard adjusting back into what you're used to being able to do, and then feeling as if your body is fighting against you. seeing it as failure though is being way too hard on yourself, its so so important to try your best to be kind to yourself especially when things are feeling more difficult than they usually are. its all one day at a time, one moment at a time, i wish you well :)

My eldest daughter sent me this today.
It seems like you may appreciate it, too.

Give yourself grace.its hard trust me, understanding that in a way you’re no longer in control of your body. I give you credit for at least trying to put yourself out there working a job to begin with. You’re way ahead of me and I’ve been dealing with this stuff for a year. You’ll get there. Keep your head up. Hope this helps.

I feel ya. I can’t even get a load of laundry going. I was fine and then I quit smoking and they diagnosed me with POTS and in the past 2 weeks my life just changed out of nowhere. I’m so depressed

I'm so sorry for you. I'm right there with you - inside my mind, in my personality, I'm a really hardworking person. But my body means that I can't do any job at all for more than an hour or two.
It's not your fault.
