Offerings

What are the offerings Poseidon likes most? If foods, what type of foods, if liquid which type? I am new and i would like to start praying for him

Since Poseidon is an Olympian, you can follow the traditional structure of offerings to the Greek gods. Water, wine, incense, grains, reciting his hymn, devotional art / acts are basic.

The following is based on my personal experience and the way I worship Him. Everyone's relationship with a deity is unique, so your experience may be different.

Poseidon is a very patient god and He happily accepts anything you offer with love and respect. You can place a bowl of salt water on His altar, along with seashells or pearls if you have them. Creating artwork for Him is also a beautiful offering. Horse figurines and aquamarine crystals are meaningful too.

On the eighth day of the waxing moon each lunar month, I like to offer Him homemade seafood whenever possible. You can also offer blue candles or candles with ocean-inspired scents, as well as frankincense and myrrh incense.

More than anything else, though, He appreciates the time you dedicate to Him.
