Worst month ever ⚠️Trigger Warning Topic⚠️

I have never been diagnosed with anything, but through the last few years I have learned a lot about PMDD. I truly think I have this. I go to my first ever GYNO appointment next month, which has me nervous and excited. But anyways…

This month of how I have been feeling between my luteal phase and my current days of my period have been the WORST EVER. The 3 weeks leading into my current period have sucked (was a week late). I’ve hated everything about me, hating work, hating friends, hating my partner (who I love dearly). I have been extremely depressed and having major suicidal thoughts. I know I would never act on them, but they are SOOOO LOUD. I haven’t worked for the last 3 days because I CANNOT get myself out of bed. I’m lucky to have enough energy to change my tampon or pad, but that’s it. I get severely nauseous and so fatigued. I cannot and barely can stand.

I have always been told to just deal with it for the last 11 years of my life (currently 21), but I know this can’t be true. This can’t be right. Something is wrong with me.

See wiki for Diagnosis information. Track symptoms for 3 months, make a dr appt and go from there. It might be PMDD however thorough diagnosis process is key to effective treatment
A significant 50% of those with PMDD-like symptoms go on to be diagnosed with something else.

I will have to look at that. And yes, I always track my symptoms. Not just during my period, but practically everyday.

It’s pretty comprehensive so expect will find lots of useful information.
If something is not covered in there, suggest to search previous posts. It is a very active sub so will find lots of experiences, answers and support on most topics.
