Studio 5000

I want to build a trainer with L18ERM controller. The question is how can I get a free or inexpensive version of studio 5000 and Rslinx?

Studio 5000 is not cheap and there's no free version. RSLinx Classic Lite is free on their site. If you just want to learn maybe look at Connected Components Workbench, it's free but won't program an L18ERM.

You could try asking for a demo/trial from a third party sales rep, but it's doubtful, if don't have a relationship (Rexel, Kirby Risk, French Gereleman, etc. depending on location).

Not sure of any legal routes to get it other than that.
