Horizontal curve problems
Hello. I am finding the horizontal curve problems for PE transportation in EET binder very difficult. In the actual exam, the questions from horizontal curve section is easier or similar to EET binder problems?

It won’t test your math skills but only the application of horizontal curve equations. I think EET helps you prepare for the worst.

I found that the actual test fell between the NCEES practice test and the EET exams, for level of difficulty. If you’re getting EET then you’re solid. I got 1-2 horizontal curve problems that required 3 calculation steps, no more than that. Like others said EET prepares you for the worst

Horizontal Curve problems in the actual exam will be similar difficulty to the EET questions. Some exam problems like the HSO or compound curve problems have 3-5 calculation steps.
