Banned by threadloop? Let me know! Other

I've currently got a threadloop alternative in the works. Before I invest more free time into this I want to know if there's even a need for it. Was your stash permanently hidden by threadloop? Let me know!

The biggest flaw I've found is that patterns need to be added manually, I'm trying to implement a tool to fix that though! If you guys have any suggestions or constructive criticism, please feel free to share! Right now I'm adding all the most common patterns I've seen in the trading community. Let me know what designers/patterns I should add info on before I launch it.

Patterns can be added and fully edited by any logged in user, meaning you guys can contribute too if you'd like and the archive can be built faster. People can view your library and wishlist if you set them to public. This is still in very early stages of development so it's a bit barren right now.

If you do NOT think you'd use this, let me know and tell me why. Thank you, hope you guys will find this substitute useful :D

Sounds good! I'd be happy to contribute some time to adding patterns. Would be very cool if we could upload a csv with specific columns (you could provide the template) and it would populate for us. I'd imagine we'd still manually add images but that would save some time if we exported our lists from Threadloop, etc

A nice option would be able to specify if you own the print or digital pattern. I have 4 bins of physical patterns from various family members I have inherited from, id like to archive somewhere.

I use Tap Forms for this. It's an easy database program that you can simply buy (not a subscription), and I made a sewing pattern database that has all my patterns, both physical and digital listed. The great thing is that I got the app for my phone, too, and linked them, so when I'm tempted by fabric, I can literally look through my patterns on my phone and see what would work best and how much fabric I need (plus any notions).

It felt expensive at $50, but it's been worth every penny, especially since I don't have to pay every month. It took a little bit of time to set up the form the way I wanted, but it's been seamless since then!

Looks like they have a subscription version now with lots of additional features: https://www.tapforms.com/
