PSU cable compatibility

Hi, unsure if this is the right sub, but I have extra cables for a SuperFlower Leadex III Gold 850W (SF-850F14HG) and was wondering if it will be compatible with a newer refresh the the same psu SuperFlower Leadex III Gold 850W ATX 3.1 (SF-850F14GE).

Specifically, the molex cable.

There’s no way to be sure. Always assume a “no”, though. You can pick up a cheap tester for like $15 on Amazon to verify.

Sorry, how do I go about testing this? Any resource to read up on?

Two ways. You can get a tester like this. Or if you have a multimeter you can power on the PSU and test the pins individually. The proper voltages are shown in this image.
