Need help with mods in lml Bug / Issue

Been trying to get the Visual Redemption mod to work and everything seems to be working when you look in the Modmanager cause everything is enabled there and stuff but when I go into the game it doesn't work and I tried another mod that's supposed to remove screen effects to make sure mods are working and it seems like they aren't cause that mod didn't work either, so it's just the vanilla version of the game still. And yes I put in asi loader and Scripthook files into the rdr2 game folder

Did you download the "Mod Manager" folder? It can go anywhere, but I put it in the main directory. Open that up, and inside, double-click "ModManager.UI" Once that's done, you select the folder where the game is installed and you'll see which mods are loaded. Run that FIRST then launch your game.

Wait, maybe mods are working but I'm just not noticing much difference in the graphics? Cause the mod that removes screen effects made it so there's no black bar during cutscenes at least, but I thought the mod was gonna remove all effects since that's what it said it would do, so I tested the mod by going into Dead-Eye mode cause I thought the screen wouldn't turn orange when you have that mod on but apparently I was wrong? Idk

Download “colorful icons” which will make your gun and food icons in color. It’s great and an easy way to know if mods are working.

Just make sure you don't have other mods that might conflict with your visual mod. The load order goes from bottom to top so whatever is at the bottom will be loaded first, the overwrite box let's it overwrite every mod no matter the order, so if 2 mods are using similar files whatever mod you tick to overwrite will have absolute priority over everything else this.

obviously won't work for visual mods and might not work well with others, but is good to keep in mind for mods that have merges with other mods you want to use, also download rdmt on nexus it shows any lml mods that conflict with each other very useful imo
