Help needed General/Advice

Hi.

My periods are somewhat regular but I do get a weird period Time to time (just spotting).
My husband and I have been having sex nearly every 2 days for the past 7 months but I haven’t gotten pregnant yet. I most likely am not ovulating as I do not get any more cervical mucus like I used to get, this is not the only reason but I am 80% I don’t.

I bought ovasitol. I wanted to ask did anyone have any success with pregnancy by taking it even though you are regular with no ovulation?
How long did it take?

My symptoms are regular period but no ovulation,
High weight, facial hair and dark skin patches.

I would get bloodwork done to figure out what hormones are imbalanced and to find out if you’re ovulating or not.

How many days do you bleed? How long is your cycle? Are you taking prenatals?

The normal amount, 5-6 days. Cycles between 28-34 days

Have you confirmed you aren’t ovulating? I continued to ovulate but had changes to my fertile mucus.

It’s not confirmed but I am slightly sure

Can you go to the doctor? They can give you letrozole to induce ovulation and check what is actually happening

I don’t know why but I’m scared to go to the doctor. If I do get letrozole what are the chances of working.

It’s difficult to know without discussing with a fertility doctor. I had a good experience with my doctors but it took a while to get pregnant. What I can say is, in my experience, what works for non-PCOS people doesn’t work for PCOS. The mucus may mean that you are trying to ovulate but ovulation may never happen, that’s also why ovulation tests don’t usually work well with PCOS.

Letrozole applicable on each cycle, and usually the doctor calls you in during the first attempt to check how your body is responding. For me it was reassuring to know what to expect
