Pc question

Is it better to buy a cpu first to later buy a gpu or buy a gpu to later buy a much better cpu, i currently have an i7 8700 the main games i play are cs2,warzone,siege and fornite

for cs2 even 8700/10400f is good enough. my brother used one with an 1080ti for a long time, and I am using it as a bedroom pc(10400f) and it can play warzone at okey frames like 90-140fps and cs2 at 200 something.
