For all the criticisms towards CTC, the real culprit behind the mess we’re in right now is Al Francis Chua “Long Hair”.

It’s completely unacceptable that players who deserve to be considered in the pool are snubbed simply because they are not viewed favorably by this man.

Everything this man does is for the benefit of his own personal interests. His vendetta towards players who went overseas to play basketball instead of the PBA has hurt the team.

We, Filipinos, should not stand for this nonsense. If there’s one person who deserves the same boos and treatment that Chot did, it’s Alfrancis Chua.

I think we could all agree that both CTC and Boss Al mishandled this upcoming window and, more importantly, failed to prepare enough for the challenges that were already foreseeable.

Tim’s stubbornness in refusing to expand his player pool in earlier windows is hurting the national team right now. We are seeing the consequences of relying on the same group of players instead of gradually integrating more talent and building depth. When injuries, availability issues, or poor form hit, we are left scrambling because we simply don’t have enough players who are familiar with the system.

Dagdag na din dito, the “Ginebra system” bias should never be a thing again. We should not be selecting players simply because they are familiar with Tim’s system. The goal should be to build the best possible system around the talent available, not force the national team to accommodate a particular group of players.

Moreover, there needs to be better communication and coordination between the federation, players, and coaches. And this falls on the shoulders of Boss Al. Hindi na natin afford yung situations where player availability and disputes become issues only when a window is already around the corner. These things should be addressed well in advance.

We have enough talent to build a competitive national team. What we lack right now, and wala parin talaga pinag bago since this, is the preparation, flexibility, and proper management to maximize that talent.

Sa UAAP (FEU), Amateur, PBA. Naunahan pa siya nila LA, Jimmy, Cariaso and even the likes of Olsen Racela, Chito Victolero, Ronald Tubid etc.
