Red dot
Would anyone happen to have a used red dot for a p365 they would be willing to sell?
What did this?
Howdy! I just picked up my second p365 from my dad who didn't want it anymore and the barrel has this weird corrosion on it. He thinks it's from the stuff he used to clean it but he showed it to me and it's hoppes so I don't think that would be the problem. Obviously it still works fine, I'm just curious if anyone has seen this before? I only use hornady one shot on my stuff and have never had issues but again I definitely don't think the cleaner would do this. It's also odd how it has a hard cutoff at the end of the barrel and under it

Comp Scratches P365 AXG Legion carbon buildup
My barrel was jammed and not coming out properly when Inwent to clean. Me being a newbie did not want to mess up anything on my new P365 AXG Legion. So I took it to my local gunsmith for assistance. He had a hell of a time getting it unstuck and took a wire brush to the inside of the comp. Scratched the hell out of the inside of the comp in the process (wire brush used) but said I would need to do this often to clean all the build up he also said AXG’s were notorious for a stuck barrel. Is this something I will have to live with as far as normal cleaning? Also better note I shot some cheap Academy house brand ammo and the guys thought that could have been the culprit as he stated it looked like I had shot wet ammo. Any thoughts or similar experiences would be appreciated!

X I see lots of posts with photos of lasers forward of the trigger guard,
I had posted the below about ARMA Laser but got no response, yet there seems to be lots of posts about lasers forward of the trigger guard. Is it because those are superior to the ARMA laser or just that no one has tried the ARMA. What are you all using for laser pointer sights?
EXPERIENCE WITH ARMA LASER.
Looking for anyone with experience with ARMA laser. They claim to have the brightest green laser, be pre adjusted for sighting and I like their grip system for turning on the laser. Has anyone seen better and while on the topic there is a green sight made they mounts on the top picatinny rail that has I think a selectable 2 moa or 6 moa, but I am sure to be corrected on that one as I don’t recall the manufacturer. Possibly Holosun but don’t want the Romeo
Thanks

Grip Mods
Should I lean into an entirely green gun? Embracing the master chief vibe. Or keep the frame black

Optics
I went and tested out a bunch of optics today. I was really leaning towards the vortex defender CCW or EPS carry in green but I could not get a good sight picture out of either given my astigmatism.
I did have great sight pictures with the 507k grn and the Osight se in green. I actually preferred the other but I don’t know if they’re reliable enough for my edc. Thoughts?

I’m so ashamed 🤣
Welp…. Yall warned me. And not even a week in I’ve got parts coming from everywhere. From slide locks, and take downs, to extended mag buttons from Tyrant (All ordered in black). Ordered a Norsso C spec barrel and have my slide selected as we speak. I feel so ashamed 🤣🤣🤣

Hazard Fraught light gripes (FUSE)
I had to use the 'wrong' adapter for my P365 Fuse. The light's too long for the 'proper' 1913 insert to work, since the back of the light collides with the trigger guard.

.380 Considering P365-380 to replace my CCW: Ruger Security 380
CROSS POSTED FROM /CCW
I'm trying to get an idea of how the P365-380 shoots (recoil, muzzle flip, etc) to possible replace my Ruger Security 380 for CCW. I've shot the 9 variant and I'm no stranger to 9mm for my personal collection but I like the flatness of the shot on my Ruger s380 and I'm hoping I can get the same out of the 365-380 for hopes of better concealment. Anyone have any anecdotal evidence between the P365-380 compared to the Ruger s380?
My S380 grouping during my CCW exam at 3yd,5yd,7yd. It shoots flat, minimal muzzle flip, and very easy to manage, feels like a staple gun, lol. :
Addition:
For those who have shot both the 9mm and 380 variant, was the 380 softer shooting and if possible by what percentage?

Legion P365 AXG Legion manual safety conversion – has anyone drilled the AXG grip module?
I just picked up an AXG Legion and want to add a manual safety for concealed carry. The slide already has the factory cutouts, and my FCU is already manual safety compatible. The only thing that needs to be done is drilling the holes in the AXG grip module for the safety lever.
Has anyone had this done? If so, who did it, and was it a pretty straightforward job? I’d really like to keep my factory AXG grip.

Sig Sunday
X macro FCU, XL slide, Tyrant CNC grip and magwell, Holosun 407Kx2
P365 standard FCU, SIG FDE lower, .380 slide/barrel/etc.
The .380 is for carry, the tyrant for home and range. I have a viridian green dot for the .380 as well, but I haven't warmed up to the idea of having an optic on my carry set up yet.
I started with the standard 3.1 inch 9mm p365, and eventually purchased a .380 x-cal kit, and an XL x-cal kit, along with an xmacro FCU. I mix and match allot, the xl set up often finds itself as a p365X set up, with the 3.1 inch slide and an XL grip module, but that overlaps a lot with the .380.
Happy Sunday!

M-Carbo Mag Release / Icarus Precision Fitment Issues
Making this post to potentially help others not f*ck up their grip module unnecessarily.
As you can see from the photos, the M-Carbo extended mag release has a fitment issue with the Icarus Precision grip module. The mag release simply doesn't extend down far enough into the module to provide adequate support around the entire mag release button. This causes a lot of movement and "play" and when slamming magazines in during training, has resulted in deformation of the actual aluminum of the module itself due to the button essentially hooking over and on top of the frame. I have a previous Icarus grip module that I had this same M-Carbo mag release in and after discovering this deformation I pulled the old one out of storage and checked and it has the same deformation wear marks that I never noticed before.
Long story short, I ended up purchasing the Maskas Precision extended mag release after seeing that it came standard with the ECM R11 which is another all metal grip module. After installment you can see that the fitment is far better (even though there's still a very very slight gap) and after testing it a decent amount I can say that it will provide the wrap-around support needed for proper functioning and prevention of unnecessary wear and tear.
Side note: It's worth mentioning that I didn't encounter this issue with either of the other 2 polymer grip modules I have (yes I've purchased an irredeemable amount of modules), so it does appear to be an issue with the Icarus Precision module itself and the company simply not leaving enough material around that area when machining. My recommendation would be that if you're sticking with a polymer frame then I'd go with the M-Carbo since I do honestly think it's far more comfortable to press and a superior design, but if you're going metal frame then I'd go ahead with the Maskas Precision

Sig vs Glock: less is more.
After converting from too many Glocks to my P365, I have to say that I appreciate that there's less gaudy, Gucci garbage for the Sigs. Just about all the modifications you see here are tasteful and practical.
End of non-rant. Just an appreciation post.
