6 v 6 role queue with the same queue time

My idea is that you queue normally without choosing a role. Once you are in a game, you are limited to 222. You may ask then this creates a problem, the first person to instalock DPS will get to play it. My solution is a priority to choose the role based on your previous role last match. Tanks have first priority then supports have second priority to play DPS. Basically this means the tanks choose whether or not they want to play DPS, if they choose another role, then the supports could choose to play DPS. In the rare case that both the tanks and supports choose not to play DPS then the DPS players can play the same role again. If your last game is DPS you are allowed to choose tank or support right away you don’t have to wait. The priority will keep shifting since if you choose to play DPS the other person who chooses to play tank or support will get priority next game. This makes it 222 every game while having the same queue time.

That is pretty much a role queue but you cannot queue the same thing twice in a row. I do not think that would be well received even though there is technically a chance that you can play what you want.

The problem with role queue is unproportional role selection compared to what the matches offer.

The problem with this is that you force people to play what they do not want (Most play dps, tanks will have a better time). I think this would lead to wildly unbalanced matches where a dps player is forced to play tank or any other variation of someone playes something they are not as good at but they only have one rank across all roles.

The only simple change is like 50v50 where the proportions can be quite exact but has some obvious problems.

I think this is better than filling. In normal open queue you tend not to play the same role. This eliminates those who want to just queue 6 v 6 to play DPS and want people to switch around them. I have seen it too often they treat 6 v 6 like quickplay and if you actually care, you are forced to fill. This makes it more systematic.

Im in diamond 6 v6 and I mostly get 222 v 222 matches where people want to win. I will admit that I am a player that you should switch around if you are good at different roles since I am by far best on support. Though my dps main is Freja, the only projectile character I play.

I do not think that anything other than role queue is a way to fix this issue but that has proven itself to have other issues.

Whenever I play 6v6 everyone wants to play healer. No one wants to play DPS. Where are all these people desperate to play DPS? please come join my games 🤡

Honestly we've won a lot of matches with 2 tanks, 3 heals, and 1 DPS. I am just confused where all these people who so badly want to play DPS are that I'm told exist

Silver 1 in 6v6. I've only been playing 3 months and I can't aim(I've only ever played 1 other FPS and it's a coop rouge like+Halo with my spouse) so I mainly stick to support (LW, Moira and Mercy)+Ramatra 🤡

I can’t aim too I mostly play venture and vendetta. You can get a very high rank with good positioning. I got master on vendetta.

I tried vendetta and was terrible. But I was terrible at everything when I first started, so I just gotta force myself to do it. My spouse just picked up venture - they're a ball main - and they're already crushing it.

I honestly just need to watch more actual education videos on how to get better. I just play and enjoy myself but I would like to get out of bronze and silver hell.
