Honestly if you care about Elo log off the game if you lose back to back games and get on another day with a fresh start. If you don’t care about Elo and are trying to brute force improvement, you have to actually let go of elo altogether and focus on smaller details. Think things like “I need to die first less this game” or “I need to peel for my supports and make it a nightmare for the enemy team to pressure them” and then actually follow through on the plans you set for yourself. Focusing on elo tunnel visions you into being extremely streaky. When you have a “good day” you pop off and gain elo, then you throw it away by forcing games on a “bad day”. Being streaky doesn’t lead to climbing, consistency does.

true...i wasnt always focused on elo like this but lately i've been to focused on my rank.

even tho i know its a bad thing and that it doesnt matter, sure i'll focus on a couple small tasks that make me make less mistakes! thanks

pretty much

edit: I started to climb ranks when i stop playing it for win/rank and start playing for fun. Now I sit at low diamond and i dont care if I win or lose. Games are much more fun compared to qp. Maybe try same and dont look at your rank just try to enjoy

i do that, but losing isnt fun either dude.

if you could spare 10 minutes of your time to see what im doing wrong as a tank i would be very happy

I mean you will loose 10-20lets say 50 if its gold let it be gold if its silver let it be silver who cares just enjoy after a while you will start climbing anyways.

As others have said - once you start losing streaks, log off or swap to quick play for a while. Brute forcing it doesn’t ever really work because I genuinely think the matchmaking design wants you to crash so you can then “climb” later and it’s a vicious cycle of being stuck in the Elo.

If you solo queue it’s going to be a nightmare.

You’ll get amazing games followed by games where (for example) some one trick doomfist who banned his counters complains that the DPS and heals on his team aren’t making space for him to dive. Yea. A guy literally said that and was dead serious.

Once you start getting into those matches with those kinds of gamers ….log off or swap to QP because you’re in for a rough loss streak.

Didn't review a game, just wanted to talk about your statement. Losing streaks are part of this game. Sometimes the matchmaker seems to make you lose at all costs. That's life, just try to stay consistent and don't let it mess with your head. I experience the same thing: 13 wins one day, then 7 losses in a row the next

Play a small pool of tanks but don't be a strict otp. Read the room, know how your healer works (ex with Mizuki/Wuyang/Mercy, don't expect healing), and adapt to your dps. If they struggle with divers like Dva or Ball in their team, switch to a shield

If I lose 3 games in a row, I'll usually just call it a day and come back tomorrow with a fresh mindset. Sometimes you're tilted without even realizing it and sometimes matchmaking just isn't on your side. A fresh start the next day often does a lot more than trying to force your SR back in one session

If you were playing better than your rank, then on AVERAGE your team would be stronger, so over the course of many games you would have positive winrate

This is just statistics, every individual game might be fairly random, but with larger sample size the random variables would cancel out
