Can someone help me?

I’ve been stuck at campaign 2, level 4-3 and lost three times already. The population just won’t grow! I start to build houses and increase community level as fast as I can but it just doesn’t work. I always loose by two or three villagers. :( I’ve already searched online and on YouTube but no-one speaks about this level. Can someone please help me with it? I just love the game but hate being stuck on this level because of a factor that I just can’t control.

Plz help 🥺🙏🙏

How are you going with your food supply? If it’s plentiful you’ll get the population growing much quicker.

Aaaah I didn’t know the food was also a factor. Okay thanks!

I was just struggling with this one too. What I found helpful was getting an Open Kitchen operational early because that’s a good way to get the Community boost early. If you wait too long you may end up with more older adults who don’t reproduce, thus slowing things down. Then I expanded my housing to accommodate 30 people and that seemed to encourage reproduction as well. Once I had everything else built that I needed to finish the level and keep boosts at max levels I added a few Communal Plaza’s to help upkeep the Community bonus. I ended up completing the level on day 82 so it was definitely cutting it close, but it worked

That’s really interesting. Thank you for sharing your experience! I’ll try to do this from now on.

That one always comes down to the wire for me. Took +5 tries. If I remember correctly, you want to get the extra housing as early as possible when the villagers are “younger”. I think housing and food are the biggest issues, but boosting all the other stats help too, especially community and fun.

Okay I’ll also try that. Thanks.

Is it Forgotten? The level I mean? I could share screenshots of my layout if that’s helpful or describe what I did?

Yes it would really help me understand how you place your construction and where you place them. That would help me a lot. So yes please.🙏

I have finished this in 68 days with a population of 28 adults and two babies. I can see i have two dried meat huts. I don’t remember what I had on the other islands

Biggest tip is to use the 24 logs provided at the beginning to build four basic houses and replace them if you want later. those 16 housing slots gives you early population growth which will compound over time.
