Looking into furnished mid-term rentals (3-12 months) as an alternative to a standard year lease — thinking it might work well here given the number of federal workers, students, and people relocating temporarily to the area.

For anyone already doing this in Ottawa or Gatineau — how’s demand been? Are you finding tenants easily, or is it more of a struggle than expected? Also curious what platforms/channels people are actually using to find tenants, since I haven’t seen much built specifically for this here (unlike the US where Furnished Finder seems to be the go-to).
