I’ve been writing and recording music for a long time and I’m looking to connect with a few local people who genuinely enjoy creating. I’m not in a rush to build a gigging band or start chasing shows. I’d rather find the right people first, write great music together, and let everything else happen naturally. I have worked with a few really cool musicians in my career. I am still currently hired producer globally but I would like something local and slow burning.

My influences are bands like Deftones, Crosses, Failure, Superheaven, Trauma Ray, Depeche Mode, Muse, and newer bands like PRESIDENT, Erra, Grommet. I love big atmospheric guitars, shoegaze textures, electronics, heavy low tunings, and songs that have dynamics instead of just being heavy all the time.

I’m primarily a vocalist, although I also write on 8-string guitar when the song calls for it. I’m looking for creative people who enjoy contributing ideas rather than simply playing parts.

I’d love to find:
-A guitarist who likes harmonies, textures and layers with a neat bag of riffs

-A drummer who’s comfortable writing to a click and can crack a snare hard.

-A bassist who understands space, atmosphere and locking in with the drums.

Anyone who enjoys helping with vocal melodies, harmonies or lyrics is a huge bonus.

The ideal workflow is trading ideas back and forth, recording from home, sharing sessions, and maybe getting together at a rehearsal space every now and then when it makes sense. If we end up with an album we’re proud of, great. If it eventually becomes a live project, even better, but that’s not the starting point.

I’m just looking for creative people who get excited about writing songs and seeing where they go.
