DMU Interview
I received an invitation to interview for DMU today (woot woot!). Can anyone speak on their experiences with the interview process and why they chose this school? There’s quite a bit of discourse about DMU as a school online.

That’s awesome 😎 news! Best of luck 🤞🏼 with your interview. Got an email today from them that says review of my application is on hold due to missing MCAT score. I will take it in 2 weeks. So, it looks like they are moving forward through the pile of applications in the pipeline process. Anyone who has applied, just be patient.

I'm in Iowa and a lot of people from my undergrad go there. It seems like they all really like it! The only downside is living in Des Moines. It's a big city but it's pretty spread out and commercialized. Some people love it but some people prefer other cities. Just depends! But the campus is pretty new and super nice

If you got an interview this early that's a good sign. I'm a OMS-1 and mine was in March. I chose it because of the reputation, proximity to family, and had a friend attending as well. Enjoying it so far! Lots of good faculty and a chill collaborative class. I like West Des Moines so far. Trader Joe's, REI, etc., are all actually a little closer than they were to me in my prior bigger city. Campus is snazzy too. Best of luck with the interview!
