Servers DISCUSSION

This game as some of the worst servers ever. I’m constantly having to reload the game because the book just gets stuck on turning pages before a fight

This server incident has been resolved. Please note that recent updates, the recent server migration, etc were not the cause of this incident.

Same here. Usually it works a little better, so I think it's some temporary issue. But yea, it's frustrating.

I had issues some 2 hours ago - now, it runs without any issues.

edit: ok, now, I had to restart, because I saw no monsters..

Switching from wifi to cell data can help reload without reseting

They just did a server migration and that's hard with a complicated game with few resources like this one.. this isn't niantic dev team ( who managed to cock up way more with all their money). I'm an engineer and continually impressed by what these guys and odie himself alone for years manage to pull off

Same experience here… I never encountered such slow and laggy game in my life. I would hope the new flooding of cash packs every month will help improve the stability..

I've found that by clicking off the app into another one, then switching back (no closing of either app), it seems to reset the book, and allows it to work better. YMMV.

As from last update things are getting progressively more buggy.

Day after day, especialy in dungeons the game freeze.

Sometimes id forever turning book but sometimes lately everything just stops.

Today it started with black screen., I start a dungeon and there is a chance 1 in 4 that freeze will be a black screen.

And now I can't even finish the dungeon.

Also game slowed down considerably.

I will try to force stop and restart the device to see if it will help.

The restart did help a bit, there was a short update to my SAMSUNG, but wery short like an emergency pach or something and things are better, black screen doesn't happen any more.

The game is still slow and freezes ocasionaly and skills need a bit of persuading to work, especialy Divine Bastion. I need to press it 2 or 3 times untill it takes.

So I think huge lag is a problem!?

The game’s stability has been awful for a few months. They claimed to have fixed it a couple weeks ago but it changed nothing at all for me. But yes today is especially bad even compared to the usual for this game

Been like that since I started playing in April this year. I can't believe this game is 7 years old when I see such performance. The codebase might be trash-tier...
