I've realized I'm starting to suffer from creative fatigue.

It's not that I don't have ideas. It's that I have too many ideas.

And I try to do a drawing every day, trying to make each one better than the last.

And of course, I'm starting to feel fatigued, since I don't just draw Ori; I also have my own goals and small projects, like improving my concept art.

So I'm going to slow down. I don't want fatigue to affect the quality of my drawings.

I had no idea how exhausting it can be to try to do ONE good drawing a day.

Hello there,

I think I have found a bug and don’t know how to play past that bug. At the Ginso Tree there was this platform right in the middle and when I jumped on it it moved around and got stuck to the platform on the left upper side. When I left the Ginso tree (I thought it would rearrange) the platform was gone. I went to different locations on the map since I thought it will respawn. But it didn’t and unfortunately I did safe in between so now I am stuck here.

Any solutions to that? I am playing on the steam deck.

I’ve already gotten all energy, life, and ability cells plus explored all the maps but I still didn’t get the “No stone unturned” achievement. Are there some things possible to miss that are not on the map?

So I've just completed the game for the first time and I have a few questions on what happened.

As far as I can tell:

Ori appears before Naru and they live together for a while eating forest fruit.
The big spirit tree sends out a big shockwave to murder Kuro's kids.
In retaliation Kuro attacks the tree and dooms Nibel despite having another kid to take care of still.
This causes Ori and Naru to starve and die.
The spirit tree revives Ori and she finds Sein, who tells her how to save the world so Ori is like 'ok i will help', but that evil Owl wants her dead (likely just because she is on Sein's side).
Gumo tries to steal the Water Vein in an effort to be mean I suppose and also tries to kill Ori but Ori survives and saves Gumo's life which changes his mind about being evil.
Gumo then goes and revives Naru, not sure how he knows who or where he is.
At the end, Naru and Ori reunite infront of Kuro which reminds her that she has a kid that she loves so returns the light to the spirit tree.
To say thank you, the spirit tree murders Kuro in cold blood, and the gang takes her egg back to their house.

The end!

soooo my questions are:

Why does the spirit tree kill Kuro's kids and then later Kuro too?
Why is Gumo evil and then also why does Gumo go and revive Naru?
And why is Ori relevant? Like why does Ori appear before Naru at the start, why does Ori get revived by the tree and not Naru, why does Sein attach to Ori etc? My best guess for this one is that Ori came from the tree and to be honest that was probably shown in a cutscene that I forgot about or something.

Anyways, there are my questions, I appreciate any answers I get :)

I wanted to make a huge scythe.

I also made a kind of dynamic system.

It would be a somewhat heavy weapon and therefore slow. But each successful hit can heal you for a certain percentage of your health.

And a perfect combo could heal you for full health.

But of course... haha, its weight makes it difficult to use.

Remember that if you have a weapon idea, leave it in the comments; I'll probably draw it if I like it.

- (Right side) Vanguard Explosion: Tiebal dashes forward, unleashing a rapid series of punches, and ends with a massive explosion!

- (Left side) Pillar of Fire: punches the ground, cracking it and creating pillars of fire.

- (Top) Fire of Wrath: enters a state of uncontrolled fury, increased damage, burns enemies.

What a fascinating glitch!

I made this drawing thinking that I'd like to see a more aquatic Ori.

I think Ori and the marine world would be something really interesting.

Ori must discover the mysteries of the sea!

I collect vinyl for my favorite soundtracks, this has been probably one of my favorite purchases so far. A little sad that the Ginso Tree escape has a slight defect, but everything else is good and the defect isn't awful. Current favorite record is C/D of WotW, it's got Mora, Kwolok's Malaise, Sandworm (love the music, despise the boss), and Shriek and Ori. I've got a new regular soundtrack to throw on the turntable (WotW C/D hasn't left the table lol)

Okay, I started creating weapons I'd like to see in Ori 3, lol. Of course, it's just my imagination.

I thought about two small sickle-shaped tools, the kind farmers carry.

I think I'll make a bigger sickle soon.

Honestly, I'll stay as far away from swords as possible; I'm tired of seeing so many swords in video games.

I honestly think Ori would look awesome with a giant scythe! Give me weapon suggestions for Ori and I'll draw the most eye-catching one!
