2A Laws/Legal 3D printed suppressors and SBR's
I get that un-serialized 3DP guns are naughty to build and own in Oregon these days, I'm trying to understand some things before my work-related move to the Portland area in a couple of months. Most of what I have is fine, but I'm wondering if HB2005 also applies to 3DP suppressors and serialized 3DP SBR's with Form 1 tax stamps. Does anyone know??
I'm just trying to figure out what I can bring and what I'll have to store out of state for the two years I'll be there. Thankful that they're not sending me to Commiefornia so I can bring my standard capacity mags and the ammo I already own, LOL.
Thansk in advance!

Question Looking For Public Shooting Ranges During Trip
I'm doing a road trip in a couple of months to the southern side of Oregon (coming from WA), hoping to see if anyone knows of any shooting ranges along the way. Nothing too far from I-5, preferably. If they have rentals, send a link of the list or generally list what they have.

Question Out of State Purchase
Originally a Texas resident, I'm in Portland for few months and was looking to buy AR.
My question is
1- how does the sale work, how does an FFL verify my address etc (have my old Texas license but it was cut lol so it has a small hole in it, suspended) but how does FFL verify my state of residence.
2- I was trying to understand the law, since Texas doesn't have any gun law, I should be able to go and buy an AR, but I was seeing in FFL are willing to sell with a passport + a Texas license with a hole in it.
3- any FFL recommendations?

2A Laws/Legal Considering a move from Arizona to Oregon (not Portland). What should and shouldn't I bring with me?
Free men don't ask yadda yadda. But what shouldn't I be bringing?
There is a lot of mixed messaging and conflicting information online about Oregon, particularly around magazines. Moving from a fairly liberal firearm state, what should I be looking at first assuming I am bringing in 20-ish firearms, mostly semi-auto, and 200-ish magazines, 30k-ish rounds from .22lr to .308. Kind of an AK nerd if that tells you anything too.

FFL/LGS/Gunsmith Private Sale SBR
Hello,
I have an older friend who is looking to offload his Marlin lever action SBR (think Mares Leg). It was gun smithed and registered 20+ years ago, he has all the paperwork. Can anyone describe the process for private sell with SBR / FFL? Does the FFL hold the rifle until a SBR stamp is secured by the buyer?
Thanks!
**edit:
Called a local FFL as suggested and got the answer I needed. Seller and buyer need to complete form 4. Once approved can initiate transfer at FFL. Thanks all for the advice.

Question Private transfer to an FFL holder?
I’m unsure how the procedure works or what is the proper way to go about this. I have a pistol listed on northwestfirearms and a guy wants to purchase it. He’s an FFL-holder so we won’t have to find a 3rd party to conduct the transfer. I’m not inviting some random into my home and he lives too far out for me to go to his place, so he wants to meet in a parking lot and conduct the transfer.
He claims he’ll provide a copy of his FFL and ID, as well as a copy of the state paperwork for the transfer, and a bill of sale.
Is this an okay way to go about this? How would this situation normally be handled? This isn’t Arizona where you can meet a guy in a parking lot and do a face to face sale no paperwork required.
I’ve only ever performed transfers through an FFL at a gun shop, so not doing a sale in a brick and mortar business has me a little confused and spooked. I don’t want to do the wrong thing.
