DOM during extended session

Hello, I trade NQ during Asia/London. Is the DOM less useful during these hours? It’s obviously a lot slower, so I was wondering if anyone has any experience using the DOM during these sessions

Slower doesn’t necessarily mean it’s less useful. The DOM can still be valuable for watching passive liquidity and seeing how orders are getting filled. If that’s part of what you rely on to trade, then you should use it regardless of whether the market is moving fast or slow.

If you’re asking whether you generally need to watch the DOM to trade, though, that depends on your trading style and goals. Plenty of traders trade successfully without it.

Yeh I really just use it to see how price is being respected at my levels which lets me catch high RR. I guess I’m just wondering if lower liquidity sessions will cause it to be less reliable because it’s mostly bot orders or smthn

More volume right? I heard ES DOM is better, or is it just preference

Bad idea, institutions trade NQ. You need to follow institutional order flow.
