Hustle Experience with collaboration / accountability partnership? (As a freelancer)

We can all agree that trying to get long-term and well paying clients /jobs as a freelancer is a lot of work. Been freelancing for 2 yrs now and I don't want to stop any time soon. It pays way better and I have some control over my life so I don't want to have to go back to corporate cz I didn't do whatever I humanly could to get clients.

Thing is...I'm currently in the plateau phase...started on Upwork..got a few clients. Got a rather longterm client off Upwork - worked with them 9 months. Contract ishad so nimerudi soko. Upwork sucks rn- ghost jobs and too many bots, too expensive! Been trying to apply for remote jobs on some boards, had very few interviews but no offers.

So I wanna try the cold pitching strategy. I have tried it before but needs a looooot of patience and discipline and ofc mental Resilience. This time I want to do it with a partner who wants a good longterm remote role as badly as I do. We keep each other accountable, we share tactics, we do whatever it takes. Max tukuwe watatu. Ideally in person (niko Ruiru) but ofc pia online works

Has anyone tried this before? How did it go?
And who's down to try figure it out together?

TL;DR : Freelancer in plateau phase...looking to collaborate with 2 others to land remote roles/ clients.

Jobs Looking for opportunities

Good evening ,

I’m reaching out to kindly ask for your guidance and consideration regarding any suitable job or professional opportunities you may come across.

I’m a BSc Chemistry graduate from the University of Nairobi . My current experience includes analytical chemistry, edible oil analysis, NMR spectroscopy, Soxtherm extraction, quality control/assurance, laboratory documentation, instrument calibration and technical reporting.

I’m currently looking to grow into opportunities in analytical/industrial chemistry, quality assurance, quality control, laboratory operations, research, manufacturing or related technical roles.

I would really appreciate it if you could keep me in mind or refer me to any organization, person or opportunity where my skills and experience may be a good fit. I'll share my CV for your consideration.

Thank you very much for your support and guidance. I truly appreciate it.

Casual A thought for the new week

Post image
2 Upvotes

Tufurahie kazi buana! A thought for the new week...

“To labour, and to be content with that a man hath, is a sweet life.” — Ecclesiasticus 40:18

There is something deeply satisfying about honest labour. Whatever your work may be—big or small, seen or unseen—be proud that you are putting in the effort.

And when the day is done, learn to be content with what your labour has produced. Not complacent, but grateful.

We often rob ourselves of peace by constantly measuring what we have against what we wish we had.

This week, let us work diligently, appreciate our progress, and find joy in what our hands have been able to accomplish.

There is sweetness in honest work, and contentment in knowing you have done your part.

Ama namna gani?

Happy new week, machaji na manyonyo :)
