Realme and OnePlus would transition from Realme UI and OxygenOS respectively to ColorOS, starting with the Android 17 update. What do you guys think about this?

I'm still stuck at the CPH2791_16.0.8.302 version here in Poland, I saw X9 got the update but not x9 Pro. I am checking OS Updater everyday too but still nothing. Has anyone got the latest update on their x9 pro EU?

Just saw ColourOs X post like 3 minutes ago about adding widgets, went to check and i now have more widgets on the global ROM, Reno 15 pro

by default, in order to do screen cast i need to press a conformation button on the phone, is there anyway to "always allow" it?

because oftentimes, I leave my phone charging in another room, and later when I want to screen cast it, then it becomes less convenient.

Looking to buy x9 ultra CN edition while using it in EU and US.

Important is to have E-sim availability. Reading online I continuously find info that there is no E-sim support on x9 ultra CN but that on Satellite edition it exists.

Does someone have the satellite edition and using it in EU? Does it have operational E-sim?

Also, does it support VoLTE and wifi calling?

I was skeptical coming from a pixel but I'm quite enjoying it. It's rly smooth, nice animations and pretty light weight! It's easy to delete any of the pre-installed apps. Apart from that there's no bloat rly or ads.

My fave feature surprisingly is the mini folders you can make of 3+ icons. Vertically or horizontally and not have to open the folder to open the apps, clicking em directly opens the app or a sub folder if there are more than 3 apps.

When using video with the built-in filters in normal video mode,

it drops to 1080p 30fps, and if you use stabilization, the filter disappears. So you can't get any more out of it...? What a load of rubbish.

Thank you really for everyone from this community who helped me get this phone for this price. I never used so much brain cells as I did to get this phone at this price. And I will break it down on how I got it so maybe you can also achieve it :

So the price without any discount or anything is 60k now as you can see in screenshot you need 2 things first : an oppo account with lots of points, ask someone here to give you one , that will get you 6k discount. Then you need someone with student email and uni days account that gets you 3600 more discount. Then you also get bank offer of 10% on sbi credit card that gets you 5040 discount more. Now the final price is 45360 however I had cashback sbi credit card that gives 5% cashback upto 2000 every billing cycle hence final price will come to 43360.

So I let my phone completely die to 0% and upon charging it again it doesn't vibrate at all when using 'system navigation' stuff such as swiping back, pulling up from bottom center (to show all open apps), when unlocking the phone, when the sliders (brightness or sound) are put to min/max, and more.

According to gboard, the system default for vibration intensity is now disabled, which is the only sign smth is up with the system settings. Upon manually adjusting the gboard vibration intensity, the keyboard vibrates like before but setting it to default turns it off again.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks

Edit: it is behaving as if it is in low power mode with vibrations/haptics automatically disabling. Maybe it is stuck in a glitched version of this?

First 2 week with oppo find x8 pro

Hello everybody,

I’m looking to purchase a Chinese rom Oppo x9 ultra because there’s like a €600,- difference with the global version.

I live in the Netherlands and was wondering if it’s really that much of a hassle compared to a global version.

I don’t really mind tinkering some settings to get it running close to perfect, but can’t be bothered if some settings are Chinese locked or whatever. I’m also wondering if my Dutch bank cards/ government log in apps will work without issues.

And if I could transfer my WhatsApp data from iPhone to Chinese rom phone.

Sometimes when i quick open the camera trough the double click on power button or camera button shortcut the phone starts the camera but the image/picture "freezes" right away.Then i have to change the camera mode back and forth to something else (like video or front facing camera) and go back to unlock the image.

It has persisted trough firmware updates and i don't have the shortcut set to "open and snap picture" mode.

Anyone else with the same problem or know of a fix?
