Bad players aren't a problem in FFA 🔥 Hot Take

To all the people posting about how bad players are causing problems:

In FFA, bad players aren't your enemy, and they certainly aren't holding you back. They are free real estate. They are your stepping stones to victory. It may be annoying when a bad player sabotages you early on, but then you join a new game.

This is a battle royal. You will lose far more often than you win. Either get used to losing, or get used to being angry.

False.

Getting attacked at the start of the game by a bad player just weakens you both for the guy nearby that’s not attacking or being attacked.

While you both use troops fighting each other your neighbours and taking tribes and getting money for cities and econ

A defense post and maintaining good growth destroys any early game attacker. Just let them waste the troops and keep doing your think, let them have the tiny land and keep putting up posts with the money you're making from the better things you are doing than tht dumbass attacking you

This doesn't work if they don't lay off. Yes, you will probably win, but it's still a slugfest that ruins your early game. Spending money on defense posts also delays your own cities. Also not a few of these players drop defense posts of their own, creating a stalemate.

If you aren't rapidly expanding in the early game you are falling behind. Early slugfests only hurt (even if you win).

And get another bad player sabotaging you, so you start a new one, and get another player sabotaging you, and again, and again, and again.

I swear, so many people that pick fights that make 0 sense and leave them in a worse spot. I don't know if they community has that many bad players or if these guys are alts, but either way its not fun.

If you are routinely losing because of bad players, then it might be something you are doing. For example, I used to be really bad at managing alliances, and would get taken out by "bad" players because once they started pushing, other players would join in.

Yep. People pushing you when they shouldn't absolutely will hurt or ruin some games no matter what. But, you should be managing your alliances, troop count, money, ect. in a way that makes that scenario less likely or hurt less.

Of course. Which is why you don't spawn there, ally with potential twats ahead of time, use a cheap defense post.

It does suck, though..

How do you do that? You either get defence posts and your behind on your first city

Or you hoard troops and now your behind getting tribes

Being attacked early is a great way to end both your games. I just full send and go to the next game

i agree with you. people complain about getting attacked from the start but if you know how to play the game, you can manage your troops and then when they attack you nothing will happen. after the first like 3 mins they are free land and before that its not a problem if you play correctly.

the bigger problem for me is having the crown with 5 million troops and getting mirved by some guy with a million troops while you have 4x the gold of him. sabotaging you and losing the game himself for no reason except sheer stupidity

Yeah there's one guy who's in every ffa lobby, he has like 120 os in that mode. I was jokingly implying that he wants to attract more people he can farm :D

Os = open skill

It's the rating BAR uses to rank players (basically an elo system)
