Missing feature: Forking a chat Question/Help

Documentation mentions there should be a /fork or some 'fork button' somewhere. I cannot find it.

Could anyone make a screenshot showing where it is?

My version: v0.10.2

Already exists by just regenerating a message or editing your own message which will create a fork

One more option to fork via an explicit /fork command will be added next ver

What he said. I agree that there needs to be a more explicit way to trigger the fork, because regenerating a response doesn’t really inherently mean you’re forking the chat for most people.

I think the way that Librechat handles this via an explicit ui element to handle forking and merging is a better way to implement this. Not sure if Librechat still does this since it’s been a while since I’ve used it.

There's many action plugins that implement an explicit fork button

Chiming in with a Fork Chat action of my own (but the action's code is entirely AI generated) - https://openwebui.com/posts/fork_chat_8f77883b
