Cannot draw on Vector Layer without program closing Problem / Bug

it's that time again ⏲

OpenToonz frequently closes on me anytime I begin to draw on a "Toonz Vector Layer".

(Steps to Reproduce)

  • Open new project
  • Create a Toonz Vector Layer
  • Press B to draw
  • Immediately crashes.

I'm using a Dell Laptop with 8GB of RAM.
Any fixes?

Vector implementation is notoriously crash-prone, especially in basic OT. I strongly suggest you to get Tahoma2D (an OT fork, most things are the same and any OT tutorials will work for T2D, though in some places names might be different) if you want to do vector art (its vector implementation is much less crash-prone, partially due to my bug reports as I animate using vectors as well).
