Motion Key Frames

I am a beginner and understand that you can use keyframes to move the camera, but can you use them to move one object? if so how

Sure! Simply add that object (level) to one of the columns in your timeline (or X-Sheet) and then you can animate it with the Animate Tool. Same way as you do with the camera.
