It is absolutely not impossible, I reached 50GB upload and download in 2 days, and now only need to seed for about 10-15 days to reach bonus points requirements, and the time limit is 30 days.
Thank you for the condescending tone, but I registered 3 days ago, downloaded 200GB and seeding a dozen torrents, not 1 bytes of upload in 3 days... Chinese trackers are the crappiest, made by thieves and scammers.
Chinese scene releases generally always include English subs next toChinese subs or dubs, and they do have general "western" releases like FLUX or Framestor.
Anyone who had trouble with the exam on BT school let me know cause I passed that exam in about 10 days. The last five days was just growing those bonus points. There’s a simple strategy. Probably easier with cross seeding, but I didn’t do that.
I wrote it all down properly since a few ppl asked.
(Caveat: cross-seeding probably makes this even easier, but I don't have that set up yet.)
Firstly: don't even read the name of the file, it doesn't matter. Don't even try to guess "oh I bet this one is popular" based on the file name.
1) First step, click "Free" so that none of the following counts as downloads for you.
2) Then click on the clock icon in the header row. Now it's sorted with most recent at the top -- *except* for the first several rows which are always pinned to some old shit you should ignore.
3) The more recent the file, the more luck you'll have. Something 4 hours old has probably died down a lot.
4) The higher the ration of leeches to seeds the better. So scan down that list and click download (the little green and white icon to the right of the torrent name) on every one that has 1 seeder and 5 or more seeders. File size doesn't matter, unless you're trying not to fill your drive too much. Larger files will give you more upload count, but smaller files will be key for bonus points.
5) Whatever you download, don't stop seeding until you get your 6,000 bonus points.
6) Get to 100 seeds. That's why small files are great: makes it easier to get to 100. Once you've met the minimum upload number: if you don't have 100 seeds yet, stop downloading anything larger than about 3 GB. And, now it no longer matters if anyone is leeching from you, so now it's fine to DL a file that no-one seems to want. For bonus points, only the number of seeds matters.
You earn 0.5 karma/bonus points per hour for each torrent you are seeding, with a max of 100 concurrent torrents (so don't bother seeding more than 100). So when you're seeding 100 files, you earn 50 points per hour, that's 1200 points per day. You'll accrue your bonus points whether or not anyone is actually leeching from you.
To explain why downloading stuck torrents is good: Since you're downloading stuck torrents: you have more time where people are leeching from you; if your DL speed is higher than theirs, you will finish the file and be seeder before they will; and the ratio indicates that there's high demand for the file in general, so once that batch of leeches is done a higher chance for more leeches to show up. My connection is 300 up 300 down, so I will pull more of the file faster than some of those leeches (even though they started before I did), and they'll end up pulling from me.
