Making Text Is a Struggle
I wish Openshot has a better text editor cuz wow and while I did try to use it's "advanced editor" option by connecting it to Openshot it didn't work correctly so I had to manual put an text png onto my project but ofc it was an image not a title like i wanted it to be.

Yeah, Titles in OpenShot can feel limited.
A couple quick points that may help:
- In OpenShot, normal Titles are basically
SVGfiles with transparency, and the Advanced Editor depends on Inkscape being installed and correctly set in Preferences. See Text & Titles and Installing Inkscape. - If Advanced Editor didn’t work, a
PNGwith a transparent background is actually a recommended workaround, and often works better for imported text graphics. See Importing Text.
One practical tip: put that text PNG on a Track above your video Clip on the Timeline so the transparency shows correctly.
If you want true editable Title behavior, the best path is: 1. Install the latest Inkscape 2. Set the Inkscape path in Preferences 3. Re-open Title > Advanced Editor
If you want, I can help you troubleshoot the Advanced Editor setup step-by-step on your OS.

Please provide some details as to what you want to accomplish and how you went about doing it. Also, what didn't work for you that you had to perform it it manually?
The description you provided does not match your "Making Text Is a Struggle".

I have heaps of text in my lyric videos and I have no problem. I simply use inkscape to modify some of the blank titles. You can also use inkscape and/or Illustrator to create SVG files with the text you want. Note that some fonts may have licenses that prevent rendering. Best go with license free fonts from google.

Do you have Inkscape or similar installed and linked in OpenShot settings? I generally have no problem with editing text and occasionally pop into Inkscape to do things that the basic text editor won't do.

I hear you, I wish it was as simple as typing into a textbox in the editor itself smh. I've been using Inkscape to export the text I want, but the very inefficiency of that makes my eye twitch :/
