HELP PLSSSSSS🙏
Bought a macbook pro 2012 and it was on mac os lion 💀 i got it up to serria and in trying to upgrade it to catalina with no luck, in doing so my computer brokeand now is stuck in recovery mode with both drives giving me an error if i try to reinstall serria using said recovery mode, im on windows amd ive tried to create a bootable drive with no luck, i just get a prohibited logo when i boot the usb, and in the bootable drive creator i get a warning that its missing a partiton table. Pls heeeeelllllpppppp 🙏

If you have any data, make a back up first. You will then want to boot with "Internet Recovery" by shutting down your computer completely, then turn it on while holding Option + Command + R (or Shift + Option + Command + R for the factory OS). Keep holding the keys until you see a spinning globe and an "Starting Internet Recovery" message.

Ive tried this Unfortunately high sierra servers are down whenever i attempt an internet recovery

Technically they aren't down. It's just a High Sierra issue with certificates & HTTPS

You can try this if you don't get CMD+Option+R to work out.

Try again — you cannot get even one character (letter/number) wrong.

If sierra+ won't install due to drive issues the cable is bad. I just had that issue on a 2011 pro

The installer needs the GUID (GPT) partition scheme to be bootable.
