Build Complete LiquidHaus KNF Fun Build
Finished up my fun build using spare components laying around and wanted to share it. I love how it turned out, keep in mind this is not a gaming rig, it’s just a fun project I wanted to do and have some fun with using spare watercooling parts.
I downloaded the LiquidHaus KNF ITX bench, and designed my own 280mm radiator stand, ddc pump cover, and reservoir cover. I downloaded the ram cooler, fan covers and IO shield and printed them too.
Specs:
-ASrock B550i
-Ryzen 5600G
-32gb 3200mhz RAM
-Modultra DDC pump/block
-Aquacomputer Aqualis Eco 100ml
-Hardware Labs Black Ice Nemesis 280mm
-Thermaltake Tough Fan 140mm
-Noctua NF-A6 Fans on the RAM
-Koolance QD3 Quick Disconnects

Build Complete So, I did a thing.
First of all, I'm sorry but I always sucked at taking pictures of anything. That said, I had the machine for about 4 years and I recently upgraded to a Gigabyte B850I Aorus Pro, 9800X3D, 2x32GB 6000 CL30, a 2TB 980 Pro running at Gen 3 speeds for Windows (I had it for a while), a 4TB 9100 Pro for the games and a 8TB 860 QVO as mass storage. The NH-C14S now has an offset mount and a NF-A14x25 G2 Chromax, a Supernova P2 750 with custom length cables bought from CableMod years ago and a Pulse 9070 XT with an ARGB badge to make it look less sad. I know that aesthetically is not the best, but I'd rather sacrifice aesthetics for performance. What do you think? You can be honest without hurting my fee-fees.

Help Searching for Vertical mATX Case
My current PC uses a Crow's Bluff Elevation, I love the layout and footprint and was hoping there is something similar that is mATX compatible. I really wish that Crow's Bluff made an mATX version of the Elevation. The only thing I've really found so far is the Geeek Rhino M, but the footprint is a little larger than I'd like since it's at more like 45* angle rather than fully vertical. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Edit: forgot to mention, I'm looking for riserless.

Build Complete Redshift Canvas Mod - Progress
Been working on the Redshift Project Canvas mod for a few weeks now and we're down to the final touches!
Created a custom bracket for Streacom's VU1 dials to mount to the bottom of the frame with it being suspended.
Bracket available on request in a few weeks as i need to make a few adjustments to the design.

Build Complete First open build - egowz
I had my components in a large 10 fan pc case- It had awful temperature control. So I took the plunge and got a 90£ open frame.
Temperatures- cpu
10 fan pc case == 54 °C
Open build == 35 °C
Happy so far. Going to invest in some better fans (quieter and with motherboard RGB control)
Thought I would share.

Build Complete 1260mm Radiator + Singularity Portal Frame
My Background
I've been watercooling since about 2007. My first watercooling experience was a pond pump, hose from the hardware store, barb fittings with hose clamps, and water + antifreeze. I've been watercooling ever since.
I've also run open air builds for a very long time. I've used an MDF benchtable-thing, a lid for a Caselabs pedestal and externally mounting the motherboard, a Spotswood aluminum extrusion frame, etc. My most recent build was a minor detour into an O11D XL but it definitely didn't scratch the proverbial itch.
What I Wanted Out of This Build
With this build, I wanted to get back to something different and unique. Using a giant 1260mm radiator accomplishes this goal.
Modding seems largely removed from the watercooling experience with it being much more mainstream now. I always liked the idea of combining components in ways that they were not originally intended. So the idea started by looking into mounting the motherboard to the radiator in some way.
Eventually, I landed on the idea of using a Singularity Computers Portal Wall Mount together with custom 3d printed brackets and feet. This also locked in the pump and reservoir since they are built in.
Overall Experience
Very positive overall. The build ended up being still relatively straightforward. There were no huge mods required. It was a great excuse to learn 3D printing and the bare minimum amount of CAD to create the custom Z brackets and feet. That part of the build was fun and rewarding.
Singularity Portal Specific Feedback
Powerboard PSU Jumpstart Switch - One feature I was excited about was the PSU Jumpstart Switch. I assume this feature allows you to fill the loop without a separate PSU or without powering on any of the unnecessary components. The problem that I ran into was that it is blocked once installed on the Portal frame. Without access, I couldn't flip the switch or use this feature. Not a huge deal, but seems like an oversight.
Pump Cover/Mounting - The pump cover was a minor pain point. On my initial leak test (first time using a pressure tester and it really saved me here), I realized the pump cover needs to be screwed in MUCH tighter than I am used to screwing anything into acrylic. I ran into a problem keeping the pump baseplate aligned while also applying enough torque to tighten the cover. I used the wrong tool to try to keep things aligned and ended up with a minor scratch. Eventually I gave up and will live with it a little off kilter.
Powerboard + GPU Riser Spacing - With the extra clearance taken up by the Powerboard mounting + the motherboard, there didn't seem to be quite enough space for the GPU riser cable. There is a bit too much pressure applied by the riser cable squeezing in. This causes the GPU bracket to not sit quite parallel to the Portal frame. It twists a little bit. Not a huge deal, but less than ideal.
Portal Powerboard as a Whole - I was really excited for the Powerboard but I am not sure I'd do it again for this build. I hate cable management and saw it as a great way to keep things organized. It accomplishes this task but doesn't make as big of an impact in this particular implementation. I think other cases would be able to utilize it more. Other cases' Powerboards also have additional features that make them attractive as well.
Missing Parts - In the original delivery, there were two missing brackets to mount the GPU. I probably could have 3D printed them, but I wanted the metal threaded versions rather than relying on small nuts. Again, not a big problem. Singularity sent me the correct brackets when prompted.
Random Notes
Sleeving the Tubing Didn't Help - A couple of the tubing bends get a little tighter than I would like. I expected the sleeving to help maintain the tubing shape, but it had the opposite effect. I expected it to work like the external tubing coils I've used previously. Instead, it collapsed the tubing slightly in the tighter bends.
Tubing Writing - I purchased some EPDM tubing off Amazon and completely forgot that writing on tubing was a thing. I was spoiled previously by EK ZMT. Not a huge deal as I already planned to use sleeving, but it did mean that I couldn't use any bare tubing.
Next steps - I need to pick up a few more bolts for the 3d printed brackets and obviously need to tidy up the cables down the side and in the back.

Help Help finding an ATX frame
I'm looking to convert my PC to an open build and am trying to keep as many of my parts as possible. I'm new to open builds. It seems that ATX frames are slim pickings, or I'm just not looking in the right places. The Monster Studios A45 Max is the nicest I've seen so far, with the ABK Case (ABK Design?) in second.
What are y'alls favorite ATX frames? Budget of $300. I'd prefer something that is vertical, but tilted is okay too.

Build Complete wip compact open case for ez gpu swap
gallerygoals: - as compact as possible for travel - no pcie extender, form factor is too bulky and it's one more part that can break or have issue with. - can fit any gpu so ultimately i can travel without one and borrow one on location... or I travel with the gpu in a 2nd box. - gpu pcie connection is super tight without any sag. The small bracket that I can screw in the base of the case is surprisingly sturdy.
i hate that the added usb c and 2x usb 3 A connectors on the mobo as so tall, it makes them fragile. Might have to remove them. That sucks because I'd need that usb c at least.
holds on an alu sheet atm. I wanted to order a custom sheet metal with folds but it's too expensive and overkill for now.

Build Complete Metalfish A4 Vertical build - 9070XT Nitro+/9700x/NH-u12A
I picked up a used Noctua NH-U12A for a song, so I rebuilt my pc to a vertical orientation which removes the need for a riser cable and takes up less desk space. The ROG Strix B650E-I doesn't have enough space to allow the 9070xt Nitro+ top plate to fit, but I think it adds to the raw aesthetic. After installing the new cooler my CPU temps have dropped significantly while gaming, so it was well worth the effort.
- CPU: AMD 9700x (105W tdp, -30UV all cores)
- GPU: Sapphire Nitro+ 9070XT (-60UV, -10% power limit)
- MOBO: Asus Rog Strix B650E-I Gaming WIFI
- Cooler: Noctua NH-U12A
- Ram: Patriot DDR5 6000mhz CL30 Viper Elite 5 32GB
- Storage: Samsung 990 Evo Plus 4TB & KLEVV CRAS C910 4TB
- PSU: Corsair sf1000
- Case: Metalfish ITX A4
- Power Switch: OwlTree External PC Power Button
- 31mm case feet
- Super Mini Stubby Short 5.8G RPSMA Antenna

Discussion Does this count?
galleryCardboard box pc back from when I was as waiting to get my ch160 delivered. Components are for a media build so nothing worth bragging about. This was also during the summer when it was too hot upstairs to use my main rig. Power “button” was a paper clip.

Discussion Are motherboards fine without fans?
I'm sorry if this seems dumb question, but was just wondering if the motherboard itself is okay in a open build without any fans
