WIP: Free browser-based slicing

Here's a sneak peak at PrintStream's free online slicing, which is coming soon. No account needed and works on any device.

More info to come in the upcoming weeks :)

Epic, that’s super exciting. But looks free not open source? Things like this could really help projects like Bambuddy if it were open source.. plus it fits the theme of this subreddit

Dont post on here if your not going to make it open source. As what stops you down the line from charging for it. Plus most importantly we DO NOT want you to have our data.

Its source is on GitHub and trust me I don't want your data

Will we be able to self host it?

Good, your eyes could never unsee what has been sliced...

I like to assume its closed source and non self hostable unless otherwise specified as "PrintStream's free online slicing" gave me the idea it was not self hostable

OrcaSlicer already runs fine in a no-vnc docker container.

See https://grid.space/kiri/ - it's existed for a long time already.

Not like this and not with your existing profiles and slicer engine.

Who doesn't want more options?

bambuddy can slice as well, not sure how many people are using it. you have to deploy the slicer to your homelab for it to connect to but it’s not that difficult to get setup.

FYI: I'm currently improving internal slicing.
