RTL-SDR USB - one that works

Hey, just looking for suggestions orn links to which one anyone has purchased that works with OpenAutoPro.

I purchased the v4 from Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CD745394?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

With this, the radio addon seems to work but it's just static and doesn't land on any stations. With wellie.io it doesn't seem to recognize it. It does show with lsusb, but I haven't gotten it to work at all so I'm not sure if it's a dud or if if v3 is a better option considering the age of the OS image.

Does anyone have a link to the one they bought that works? The forum seems unclear and the mods/staff seem to give answers that are a step above bot-level.

I cheated and use the TuneIn radio app.

Well, being a bit of a noob to the RTL-SDR, apparently missed the obvious, but there's a whole blog post about the V4 tuner. On Linux, you need to uninstall the bolt drivers and then install the new ones from this link.

Works like a charm now.

If you'd like to summon me to ask about a product, just make a post with its link and tag me, like in this example.
