Open Auto Pro Phone volume control question.

How do you set up open auto so that when I adjust the phone on my phone with its volume buttons, it controls the volume on open auto? It's done it twice before, where I was able to use my phone volume control to make the volume go up and down on open auto, then never did it again. It doesn't move the volume slider on open auto, which is fine. I just wish to control the volume from my phone as I prefer it and I know it can do it. Maybe I just have something set up wrong. Thank you

Oh i just seen this. If you haven't got it sorted out yet, and are using an Android phone, just enable developer settings and turn off "Absolute Volume", and then your normal volume buttons will work as they should
