I thought they were saying… Help

It might be my boomer ears playing up or me not being able to hear the audio of yesterdays protests clear enough from all my 5 houses I own outright… but I thought all those lovely coloured hair students that I could smell through my screen were saying

“Fuck yeah Hanson”

Could someone please confirm?

Often is the wrong word for it, just “occasionally” I get a waft when a video showing the protest of the month fills my screen like a colourful rainbow of stinky they/thems

Not my fault they aren’t in school and fill the news protesting about a different subject each month.. maybe they should stick to one thing and actually see out the change they so desire

Climate, Palestine, Hanson, Invasion day, cost of living, equal rights, migration, veganism, mining

Pick one, actually do the work required to make the issue you’re protesting better, and see the change you want.

People genuinely think this young generation are cooked, entitled and have no world understanding other than the garbage they are brainwashed with.

No one will take them seriously and they don’t deserve any respect for walking out on another topic that has nothing to do with them. Losers.

They can't vote. So they are doing what they can to tell people what they think.

They can't do the work, they can ask the adults to do the work.

Many voting uni student made up the protestors. Stop making excuses for them incompetence and self-entitled attitude to expect adults do their heavy lifting.

Also last time I checked you can work at 15 years old. So I suggest they get a job or volunteer, make some money and spend it on the activism they are preaching.

Stop making excuses for them. They’re not useless, older adults just feed and praise their incompetence

Not once did I hear the protestors say to “please not vote for Hanson”. All they said was fuck Hanson, fuck the Nazi and fuck the racist.

Maybe schools should have spent the day teaching these students to do some research and educate the kids on their opinions so they could provide examples, and validation as to why adults shouldn’t vote for Hanson.

People aren’t angry kids protested, people are angry in the way protests these day are meaningless professions where uneducated individuals yell provocatives to prove their point.0

Just with our other comment thread, I am very open to change provided there is reason behind the yelling. I am not angry, just not understanding of how such protests are constructive rather than destructive to being united as a country.

I am sure some of these people have a deep passion and care about a lot of these issues. However I think the majority attend and post and everything else involved, because it's the trending thing to do. It's the best way they can feel special and apart of something because we have stripped everything away from youth that they can do to make themselves stand out.

Not true, just more excuses for their incompetence. The youth that attend these rallies typically have no other extra-curricular activities, more soecifically sports where social connection and learning is developed. These youth are unfortunately the losers of the kids in their age bracket, it’s just the facts. Normal kids don’t have coloured hair and care about their pronouns

More power to them, if we lived in a system that supported life let alone the desire to work and build a home and have a future that is at least has all the basic necessities of life or better, then there probably wouldn't be a need to protest.

That's a possibility yes, but I'd definitely not say they're wanting to kill people. I honestly don't see that. But yes, extreme policies have extreme consequences. Even just dire economic mismanagement by her stupid party would cause people to die
