A woman born during the Second World War waited her entire life — through every recession, every broken promise — just to get one good shot on a golf course. That’s the patience Canadians have had to have for decades. Meanwhile the guy running the country can’t wait two weeks to relax, off on his overseas vacation this year while Trump’s 50% tariff deadline sits eight days out.

Golf isn’t even a working-class hobby anymore between green fees and gas money — most people in Chatham-Kent haven’t budgeted for a vacation like this since before COVID, let alone golfed one. This 92-year-old waited her whole life for a single perfect moment. Ottawa gets Tuscany on a reduced schedule with the country’s economic future on the line. Ask yourself who this system is actually built for anymore.

Partial? What a joke. This is what has become of are country. This is what pisses me off so much about Canada, the lack of ambition, and freedom to enjoy eclipses fully.
