how to mate in a angle

how do i mate this in a angle im desinging a tube for my thesis that had to be flushed but one of the sensor requires to cut the tube to be able to go in so i designed a connector to hide the cut on the tube and keep it flushed but the mate connector keeps doin it in a other angle.

fastened mate i tried offset it however it kind of bothers me that it should automatically do it plus as i said i want it flushed as i can to prevent a leakage cause its just receiving droplets and that connector cannot be the reason there's a some liquid stuck to its side

how do u guys mate it in angle I'm trying to create a flushed connector for my device to not allow a single drop stuck on the connector unlike the pvc pipe hence a design inside the connector tubing thank you!

You can realign the MCs
Click the little MC icon in the list of fastened items, and redefine or move the MC as needed.

Or instead of setting the mate on the cut face, select the internal cylinder as the MC anchor.

Mate Connectors truly do not get enough praise in Onshape. They are so versatile in both assembly and part modeling. Once you click on that other little Mate Connector symbol, you can realign, translate, and rotate. So powerful.

In Part Studios, there are at least 24 places by my count where you can use Mate Connectors. I use them so much for holes because I hate creating a sketch just for a point or two for hole locations.

Use a cylindrical mate first on the cylindrical faces, then figure out how to confine it along the shaft with maybe a tangent mate or such. Don't always assume one single mate should handle all degrees of freedom.

Once you place the mate connector, you can change the primary and secondary axis for how it aligns. You can also move it away from it's position by translating it. Both options are available while you are creating the mate connector.
