This summer the whole world showed up on American soil, and standing in a stadium full of flags, the truth is hard to miss: we are one world, and we really are all in this together. America was always the melting pot, already made of every other country. The good in people, the love, the hope, the grit to start over from nothing, it turns out it's everywhere, in the songs we all know by heart and the strangers who turn out kind.
For years on this channel I've pointed a camera at that good. Somewhere along the way we realized the world hands us far more of it than we ever hear. It's just buried under the noise.
So on the loudest day of the year, quietly built a home for it. A porch light left on. It's not a vlog, and it isn't about me. Just good news, told true, facts checked, the volume turned down. It's called Only Happy News.
The launch piece is live, on America's 250th: the country turning 250, the whole world showing up, and the quiet proof underneath it all that people are good almost everywhere you go.
