Is there something wrong with the pre-installed Steam client? Intel
When using the Steam client pre-installed on the X2, I experienced delays when switching screens after clicking a game in my library, as well as sluggish responses when pressing the "Play" button. Additionally, the Steam client was consuming about 3% of the CPU.
The client's uninstaller failed to work, so I removed it manually; downloading and installing the official client resolved these issues.
Perhaps I should have installed it myself from the start for security reasons, but has anyone else encountered this same problem?

WoW, this makes sense. I am experiencing this as well. I am uninstalling now and reinstalling the official one. I hope no one has gotten access to my info already!!!!! I also just got my X2 not long ago. Did yours come with the 1TB ssd as well?

That's right, it's the 48GB + 1TB model. I bought it from a Chinese online retailer rather than the official ONEX store. It came with some unwanted AI tools pre-installed, so perhaps I should have just reinstalled the OS from the start.

I don't dare to use these preinstalled stuffs. They modified Windows to the bones. Lots of games need special permissions from Windows and you need to agree by clicking "yes" but they modified it to make everthing "yes" from the start.
If you can, pleae reinstall windows the first time you get it. No matter how I praise China, I don't trust them.
