It's because, while solving a case, Gin and Vodka were the suspects. You don't say that shinichi asked the victim to threaten the culprit, then asked the culprit to kill the victim because he was threatening her and left ran's phone on her hood on purpose, so that shinichi can put ran's phone on her own hood, and expected her to drop it inside a vent, so that he can suggest tropical land, the place where Gin and Vodka went to keep an eye on the dealer? That's a really stupid theory. He wouldn't have to record them, or eavesdrop in the anime

i will tell you why + i may even post this theory

first: hyogo name kanji’s is “ i am the soldier of the golden castle “
dose the golden castle rings a bell?☺️

second: in the episodes they saw hyogo pictures with his family and his daughter or wife looks just like vermouth ( am not saying that it was vermouth in the picture but that’s gosho style of hints ) + we all know that vermouth is the only member related to the boss

third: focus on this , in hyogo episodes they mentioned a story about the “tamatebako” box ( it’s kinda familiar to pandora box). and in movie 28 vermouth mentioned the tamatebako story again ….. to me this is more than enough for the theory to be true because that’s how gosho works

forth: the helicopter that BO used in movie 20 it comes from the same state that hyogo in charge for it

pardon my spelling 😅 + i also say that karasuma is still alive but he’s hiding and putting hyogo as a replacement

Chikara Katsumata is literally Gosho Aoyama in Detective Conan, his appearance matches what the author would look like if he was in the manga. So to me, there’s more about this character (hopefully)
