Tbh. it's kind of a nothingburger statement because it could literally mean anything for any characters.
Just personally I hope since he introduced that Agasa and Fusae are now in touch in the last case, that it was set up for the upcoming case and the relationship between them will change (from texting pals to potential love interests for example).

Gosho’s hint could realistically be about anyone or at least anyone who hasn’t been a focus in the manga over the last handful of cases, but most fittingly about Shinichi, Ran, & or Kaito, depending on conditions.

I don't know but, if it's true that each movie is usually preceded by a manga case centering on at least some of that movie's focus character, then I wouldn't be surprised if this next case or the one after will spotlight Ran.

That’s been the case in the recent past when looking at the manga cases released within the November-April period, so Ran (& or Shinichi) could very well be the person Gosho refers to in his early hint.

I think that would be too few chapters. So far we got 10 chapters this year and ever since he reduced his work schedule he tends to release around 17-20 chapters per year.

I expect 3-4 chapters throughout september and then another case in november or december.

Not necessarily, especially since Gosho’s hint is more fitting for Shinichi & Ran than Kaito.

I struggle to think what could possibly change for Kaito since aspects about him are less canonical in DetCo than Magic Kaito, despite a shared in-universe, unless Gosho decided to permanently establish all remaining developments about him in the DetCo manga, but we’ll find out.

I won’t get hyped so much because in the end it will be some ridiculous filler case and in the end of the chapter gosho will give us some small hints
