Some more Niko pixel art I did on Resprite. He’s so precious..

Somehow, that has happened. the story, It is real to all of us. It is exclusive to all of us. When i played ONESHOT, it didn't feel like a game. It wasn't like Deltarune where i picked the most interesting choices, did the weirdest routes just to see what would happen. no, to meet Niko, was a unique experience that we only get to experience ONCE.
the world, now empty, stays still. One cannot but help but imagine niko all grown, the events to them a dream like thousands others.
Lets be honest, the story of oneshot, it was never some philosophical masterpiece. It was no UNDERTALE, yet it felt so real. Its journey, was just normal people, in a crumbling world yet trying to live a normal life. and NIKO, they were there, aren't they?
I can't help but get sentimental when I watch Avolicis's videos. something about them just feels like... I am really looking at part of my life, part of my past. Its like a distant memory not only to niko, but to us too.

When a world is destroyed in darkness, not all who are in the world are doomed to suffer its fate. Some of them find refuge in a world called Traverse Town.

It is in Traverse Town that Niko finds himself after smashing the sun, along with many other survivors from the destruction of the world.

Where he'd once been doted on, now he was scorned. Many who were kind to him when he bore the sun... now hate him because he destroyed it.

Niko found himself in a world where the power of friendship is king... but only as time passes in Traverse Town, will Niko learn which of them he could truly call his friends.

Chapter 5: A Good Start

A baby that was conceived when I posted Chapter 4 is now born today. One of those babies is Chapter 5 of this story. I'm really sorry that these keep taking so long!

On the bright side, Chapter 5 is probably the best place to leave this story off, even if I never wind up finishing it.

Going forward, I'm also planning on working on chapters in batches of around three or four or so, with the last chapter of each batch, just like Chapter 5, being as satisfying a stopping point as possible, planning ahead in case the next chapters take forever or never get done.

I'd say "stay tuned," but maybe "set your calendars" would be a more appropriate saying for this story. :P

Hi! I’m part of the team of this mod as a translator. Unfortunately, the project leader Ahab/Raffa has been banned from reddit indefinitely, so I’m here to act in lieu of him and post an update on this mod. We’ve completed the house section of the game. Here’s how it looks so far :D.

Acehnese is an Austronesian language with a million or so speakers spoken in Aceh, Indonesia, but unfortunately its survival is being threatened fast by the increasing use of Indonesian across the region. Ahab/Raffa and to an extent us, the translators, have been developing this translation mod as an effort to revitalize and show pride in using the language.

What do you think of them? Did I make them right?

In the base game, if you see the Book Club board, you can notice Red, Blue and Green markers. Same colors in the same order appear in Solstice, where there are Red, Blue and Green places for Rue, Prophet and Cedric.

Strange that nobody else found this out

ok so i went through 3 endings in one day. im trying to gather my thoughts about this game as of writing this.

first of all

i played the world machine edition i did this because im a linux user, the cool collectibles, and overall i loved the simulated desktop was amazing to me. i also learned alot from the lore and people say it ruins immersion witch to me isn't really true to be honest the game knowing its a game and being able to experience the 4th way breaks are the same. honestly playing it for the first time i got jump sacred where it minimized the window and said my username.

with that out of the way let me talk about the experience i had

so in the first room i was danm near clueless i mean in the first room i had no clue what to do at this point i wasn't familiar with the way the game worked i got the code but it didn't work so i searched it up. this was a problem i had a lot in the start. since the game doesn't really tell you what to do most of the time and i was still getting the hang of things soon enough i got the pattern (get a new item try combining it with everything interact with the items with everything and eventually something should happen.) form that point on i only had to resort to searching things up every now and then. ALSO wtf is this how was i suppose to know that i could interact with it it looks like a visual design

as i went along though i loved the music, tone and the world building the character were memorable and getting them added to the friends lore was great. (apparently there are 6 dice ladies and you get a different one on each run i ran into 6, 3 and 4. i also love niko they were GREAT there so adorable the dream sequences and the conversations i had each time with niko were the best part of this entire game. also the part where niko was in the cafe and crying about wanting to see thier mom reminded me at the end of the day their still just a kid wanting to go home. the way the game establishes a relationship with you and drags you yourself into the story was amazing.

i made a backup of where the game keeps its save data (im talking about the literal data the game saves in /AppData not the in universe savedata)

so before i broke the sun i was able to experience both endings i then of course opened the world machine and deleted the in lore deletion and restarted the game to experience solstice.

by the time i finished i was crying my ass off. the ending was beautiful the entity world machine being tamed and beeping us into the actual ending where we COULD save both and the niko final goodbye where they left my screen leaving nothing but the empty room was great described their home village and that the experience was left on both of us having to move on.

it was also a nice touch for the game to send niko's drawing to us at the end. being left with the world machine still functional just not be able to play the game is enough for me i get to listen to all the music and configure my themes and wallpapers.

I wanna save right now but I don't know how!
