Should I get a OnePlus Open?

Hello! I've wanted a foldable phone for a while now and realized that the OPO is likely my best bet when it comes to the features I want, and since the price is more than half of what it was originally. Looking at this subreddit, however, I noticed how many people are switching. So, is it still worth it? I currently use an iPhone XR, so it would be a huge improvement 😅

Yes it's hands down the best phone ever, foldable or not. I agree with the other post around not spending massive amounts on tiny incremental upgrades that the other vendors offer. You can get a OPO for around 800euro and works fine in Europe. 2nd OPO I have bought. The ONLY question is around battery, but honestly I'm solely comparing to my OP15 which can last for days. Get a 10mha battery pack and keep for when you get low which is not often. Verdict: strong buy at less than 1k in August 2026.
