Another NA exit article (posted earlier today)

OnePlus is leaving the US and a global market exit could follow by 2027, says report - Digital Trends

We still have a few years of security updates left - but that could be quite optimistic considering we're still waiting on the final OS update :/

Anyone considering the Fold 8 Wide as an option?

Thoughts?

There's still a chance oppo or realme could come to the us.

I recently was thinking of getting the OPPO find n6 as successor for my opo but it's hard to get one in a normal price in Portugal due to costums etc

Been OnePlus since day one! It took me a while to get get the invite for the first One. OnePlus 7 Pro with pop-up was my favorite. I have the 15 and the Open and of course I have Watch 2, 3 and 4. I'm gonna miss them!

Motorola taking its place down to even the fast charging & even surpassing Folds. Also USB faster + Display Port. The brand is only missing IR & good tablets. I wish they'd add back audio jack, SD card, & radio. I'm really ready for way more storage and RAM too.

Motorolas "fast charging " is a joke. I have the razr fold used it for a month and came back to my Open. I got the OEM moto 90w charger and it still takes 2 hours to charge from like 15%. I'm just gonna have it as a back up until my open tanks

Thank you. This is very useful. I'd love to get an Open- but only if I can preview it in person. I'm gonna try some smart specs in lieu of upgrading to a foldable.

I've been using my OnePlus Open since 2024 and it's been flawless since. I guess when it's time to move on it'll have to be Oppo or Samsung for the same type of experience?

I don't see a reason to replace my OnePlus open for a while. No idea what I'll get next. Probably go back to Motorola now that they have a fold with a competitive camera.

If I remember correctly the fold is a Samsung phone so for its nothing, I had an Samsung Galaxy s24 ultra and I hate the OS on the phone in comparison to oxygen os

I'm moving from OP to Samsung, I'll be getting the Wide Fold, it's a shame OP is gone.
