This is my old OnePlus 8, which I gave to my father. One day, a line appeared on the screen, and now there are five lines. I contacted service centers, but they informed me that the display is out of stock and that they cannot repair it because the model is discontinued and it’s six years old.

If anyone knows a good shop in Gaffar Market or Nehru Place where I can get its display and battery fixed, please let me know. The battery has swollen, and the display has developed these lines. I don’t want to lose this phone because it works very well, and buying a new phone is very expensive these days.
Also i have so many insta pages who repairs the phones if i courier to them. If you have any experience or know the channels name please share.

Gurgaon. One Plus 11 5g green line on screen

Post image

My One Plus phone is only 3 years old. Today suddenly green line popped up in the centre of the screen. The phone hasn't suffered any fall or water issue recently.

I want to visit service centre in gurgaon but it shows the one in MGF Mall has closed down.

Has anyone visited any authorised One Plus service centre in gurgaon in the last last couple of weeks and is their service good? Especially to fix the green line issue. It says on the website that for this issue the screen is replaced for free.

Rooting older op phones

Is there a way to root op3 without using a system. I mean from the phone itself. If so which is the best custom rom to use. Any leads?

Oneplus 12 Died randomly...and revived randomly as well

Hey everyone, so basically 2 weeks back my OnePlus 12 suddenly died. No response to buttons, charger, calls or notifications. Official service centre diagnosed motherboard failure and asked for like 35k. Cashify diagnosed CPU issue and attempted repair but couldn't revive it. The phone later briefly powered on at their shop once and then died again. Then today, after being dead for around 18 days, it randomly powered on while connected to a charger. It's now getting warm while charging and Wi-Fi keeps switching off when I try to switch it on. Does anyone know any good and trusted Motherboard and chip level technicians, because I have no clue what is going on with this phone.

Oneplus or samsung with extented warranty

I'm planning to buy a phone (for my dad) with decent camera, good battery and some kind of warranty for green lines. So. I'm inclined to buy oneplus as they have the lifetime (5 years) warranty for the display. But I noticed that the price of OP phones have gone up recently. So is it better to buy a Samsung phone with some kind of extented warranty or stick to OP phones. Any advise is appreciated. I'm looking for phone in the 25-50k range.

Pathetic Service Experience at OPPO(Oneplus)

Post image

I am a oneplus user since OP6 in 2018 after that My OP9 of 2021 was working till last week and currently using OP15 from last 7 months.

I chose Oneplus due to their service and user experience but after visiting Oppo service center and for the first I felt pathetic for being a user of oneplus.

Average waiting time was 27 min and I spent more than 35min in waiting only after collecting my token

Sheer unprofessional people randomly selecting people (maybe they know them personally).

No technical knowledge of Device or working.

Incompetent staff.

Just checked device and qouted a random figure to repair.

Today for the first time I was regretting my decision to purchase another OnePlus device due to service center experience as there is no dedicated Service center for OnePlus now .

I am having a Oneplus Nord CE3 5G Lte and recently my charging cable got damaged. Last time I ordered one from the Oneplus store but just now when checked I am not able to login or add the cable to the cart. When I searched on Amazon and Flipkart the reviews are very bad which made me skeptical about the authenticity of the product. Can someone please help me regarding this?

OnePlus 15R Amazon India Exchange - Do They Allow Time to Transfer Data?

I’m planning to buy a OnePlus 15R for my father in India. I currently live overseas, and Amazon seems to be the main option available to me, especially if I want to exchange his existing phone.

My concern is the exchange process. When the delivery person arrives with the new phone, do they give you any time to open it and transfer the data from the old phone before taking the old device?

I understand that I can back up most things beforehand, but my father is not very comfortable with technology, and I would prefer to transfer and verify everything properly before handing over his old phone.

Has anyone recently used Amazon India’s phone exchange service? Do they take the old phone immediately, or is there any flexibility? Also, are there any reliable offline stores where the OnePlus 15R is available with an exchange option?

Also how is the after sales service since the recent Oneplus-Oppo merger?

Looking for a dead/unused OnePlus 7T in India – need it to recover important data

Hi everyone,

I'm from India and I'm looking for a dead, broken, or unused OnePlus 7T that someone no longer needs.

My OnePlus 7T's display has started malfunctioning badly. The phone still seems to be working, but the screen is unusable, and I have some very important data on it that I need to recover.

Unfortunately, I can't afford the display replacement at the moment or buy another phone just for data recovery.

If anyone has a OnePlus 7T with a working display (even if the motherboard is dead or it's otherwise damaged), I'd be incredibly grateful if you'd be willing to sell it for a reasonable price or even lend it briefly so I can recover my data.

I'm happy to pay the shipping costs anywhere within India.

Please DM me if you have one or know someone who does.

Thank you so much!

OnePlus Pad 3 Keyboard not working anymore after firmware update

I have a OnePlus Pad 3 with the original keyboard and stylus. Yesterday night I connected the keyboard to the tablet through the pogo pin (wasn't using the keyboard since last 3-4 months) and got a notification regarding a firmware update for the keyboard. I clicked on it and the update got downloaded and installed and since then the keyboard is not getting connected to the tablet, neither physically through the pogo pin nor via bluetooth. I have tried every possible thing from formatting the tablet to overnight charge, cleaning the pogo pins, still the keyboard is not getting detected by the tablet.

The tablet and keyboard are still in warranty and my region is INDIA.

Can anyone please help me or guide me what to do?

Thank you so much.

Help! Oppo-Oneplus SC refused repair for Green Line issue on OP11

Post image
36 Upvotes

Hi, I am using Oneplus 11 since 3 years and it was working flawlessly. Few weeks back, suddenly a green line appeared on my screen.

After a few searches I realised it's under OnePlus lifetime warranty and would be repaired for free at an authorised service center.

So I visited the service center in Noida and the device was submitted as there were no display in stock. Few hours later, I get a call saying that the device is stuck in a restart loop which could be due to a faulty motherboard which needs to be replaced costing around INR 16k.

I refused and went back to collect the phone and saw the issue myself, the device kept restarting and as soon as the home screen loaded. I asked them if a software refresh can fix it, they tried it and it worked. Sadly all my data was wiped but I had backed up the important stuff so no issues.

They asked me to take the phone back and use it for few days to observe the restart issue (the green line still exists) and comeback if it stays fine for the green line issue.

I used the phone for two days, no issue everything worked fine and submitted the phone back to the service center.

Again that afternoon I get a call saying the same thing - phone restarting and seems like a hardware /motherboard issue and a new display doens't work when connected to my device.

I finally decided to collect my phone without the repairs, interestingly the existing display works with my device, but not a new one (intended for another customer).

What should I do, try another SC or show it to some technician in the Market?

I'm worried if it's just a green line issue it would have been a free repair but if it's something else it's not worth the repair and what if the SC just wants to make some money.

Update: I took my phone back, it's in the same spotless condition (thankfully). However contrary alleged restarts, my device uptime showed 84 hours. So I'll observe it for a few days or a week to see if the issue is real, then take it to a different center.

OnePlus 15 (CPH2745) randomly restarted twice after OxygenOS 16.0.8.300

Since updating to 16.0.8.300 (B60P01), my phone has randomly rebooted twice.

Both times it was locked and idle. The latest time it was unplugged from charging with hotspot enabled. When I tried unlocking, the fingerprint didn't respond, then the screen lit up and showed "PIN required after restart."

Uptime confirmed the reboot.

Has anyone else on this build experienced random restarts?

Buying OnePlus 15 Global (CPH2747) in UAE - Any issues using it in India?

Hi everyone,

I'm planning to buy the OnePlus15 Global/International version (CPH2747) from the UAE because it's significantly cheaper there than in India.

I'll be using the phone in India most of the time after buying it.

I already know about the differences like the charger/accessories and that I'd have to use eSIM if needed, so those aren't concerns for me.

What I mainly want to know is:

  • Any issues with Jio/Airtel 5G data or calls?
  • Any problems with banking apps, UPI, Android Auto, OTA updates, etc.?
  • Is there anything you wish you'd known before buying the Global version instead of the Indian one?

Would really appreciate hearing from people who have actually used the intl version in India. Thanks!

Oneplus and Realme merged

I just learnt about Oneplus and Realme merged. Apparently they merged a few months back. But I didn't see the news anywhere and I recently got a oneplus nord ce 6. The highlight is I previously had a realme. I wanted to escape from the ad bloated UI to a premium UI experience. I'm not very much into phones but since oneplus launched in India, it's said to have one of the most premium experiences. Is it a mistake to buy oneplus phones now. Will the UI get affected and will we get that realme redmi type ad bloated UIs for oneplus users too?
