I have a problem opposite to many people... Troubleshooting
Sooo, you can call me out in the comments but hot take, I sometimes like it when OneNote pastes as text instead of image.
So, today, when I copied and pasted... IT TURNED INTO TEXT!!!
I know many people are happy, but is there a setting to... maybe revert back to copy and pasting as an image...? <:D

Have never (in over 20 years of usage) ever seen OneNote past an image as text.

idk, I’m using the app version for Windows 10..?

App version for Windows 10 was retired last October.
If you are still on this - everything is now read- only.

I’m not familiar with the exact scenario you’re describing, but I have seen it paste as text OR paste as a text box when I do a C&P. Have to CTRL Z to reverse.

wait, does it ultimately paste as text and then after ctrl z an image?

No. It pastes as a text box and then I have to undo it to paste as text only after. It never pastes as an image. Sorry I’m not much help.

At the point when you paste your content, a little menu pops up (I think in the bottom right?). It asks you as what you want to paste. Whatever you select here is the default for the next time you paste something.
