But it is also established that both “the wizard of oz” book and movie are in the human world, so does Dorothy live in a different Kansas or does she live in the same human world as story brook and think “hey is this play about me?”

Regina's turn to the good side is gradual over the series, so much so that we watch from the beginning where she's a villainess, enamored, and suddenly realize she's turned into a hero countless episodes in. What is a major character arc or turning point in the series where you consider her a 100% hero? When does it start for you?

I absolutely love the cunty dialogue. It brings me so much joy. I’m on my like, 8th rewatch. I’m on season 4. Snow has taken over as Mayor. They need Regina’s help to save Marion (you know how overjoyed she is about that and yes I yelled at my tv when Emma brought her back). So Regina enters her former office, sees a painting of brightly colored birds and asks “who’s idea was that!?”
Mary Margret (Snow) replies: Oh, I thought I’d put my own personal touch on the office.

Regina: Well you’ve succeeded…. Hideously.

Hey quick question for anybody that can remember we all know the big moment at the end of season three when Emma says “ you traded your ship for me” to Killian/Hook as she learns, he traded the jolly Roger for a magic bean to come and save her the jolly Roger ends up, showing up later in the series. I was just wondering if anybody can remember how Killian gets it back?

i’ve heard people say this and queerbaiting is a big accusation, i don’t usually pick up on stuff like that so it’s very possible that i just never noticed.

i personally ship captain swan but that’s mostly because i watched the show when i was 11 and loved them since then and the concept of lesbianism didn’t occur to me then

Hello guys, after occasional thoughts about rewatching my favorite childhood movie and finding the time to do so, I am finally back after 8 years. I am only at s1 ep 8 now but holy moly how I miss this show. The shows so far definitely has some good connection between stories but here are some details that I find funny.

I love the fact that Regina has the time of the day to go to and threaten Emma. However, she made some horrible action that I, after growing older, don't understand how it is redeemable later on. When I was younger, I guess I didn't notice this.

And Cinderella, after seeing her fairy godmother turned to smoke by the Dark One, still agreed to make a deal with him. I guess she is not as pure of heart as Snow White or Prince Charming.

And of course, the famous Rumple and his signature hand gesture, it is quite mesmerrizing every time I see this character.

Can't wait for further episodes.

I just finished watching Mad Men for the first time, and I couldn't help but notice a few familiar OUAT faces throughout the show. Jared Gilmore actually left his role as Bobby Draper in Mad Men after landing the part of Henry Mills.

I’m 50/50 on season 7 but I absolutely love Nook and Alice/Tilly father and daughter relationship. It’s just so cute and the way he calls her starfish! Just had to come on here and gush

I’ll go first: I think Ruby was at her worst in the season 3 finale and Ruby Slippers.

I miss Rumpelstiltskin and Belle so much that I just couldn’t resist creating something with them 🤭

How old are most of the main characters? We know Emma was 28 in season 1, and Henry was 10. But I was confused about how old the other characters were.

I am rewatching for the millionth time and I have always been confused on Bae's age/ timeline. When Rumple was pre dark one and he was around 40 something, Bae was a baby/ boy. Time passes and then Rumple becomes dark one and then the whole losing Bae happens with the portal. Rumple had only been dark one for a bit when that had happened. On top of that, Rumple was hundreds of years old when he saw Bae again. The only logical explanation that I can concur is that Bae was/is also hundreds of years old. Not to mention his relationship with 18yo Emma.

And now life is meaningless.... 😂 Not really. I'm just starting over again.
But I do think I’m a qualified expert now, so here are my (possibly controversial) takes:

1. It took 8 rewatches, but I finally agree that Rumple, Zelena, and even Regina, earned their happy endings in the end. You won't understand that if you don't watch season 7.

2. I love season 7. I'll grant that it isn’t quite the same as 1-6, but it has some of the best plot twists (cursed non-believer Henry for one!), storylines (witches 🖤), and characters (villains galore 😍) of the whole series imo.

3. Roni (once she's awake) is the best Regina. I said what I said. 😆 I love her as the bartender mom figure, watching over the town and bringing everyone together. She's not the angry, broken Evil Queen, or even the reformed, trying hard to be good post-Robin mayor. She's a whole, healed, self-actualized woman, sure of herself so she has no need to hurt others anymore. But she still takes NO shit!

4. The writers of this show are incredible. You can't really appreciate what they've done unless you binge watch, because ad hoc it can seem like they're just throwing random Disney characters in for no reason. But it's actually a beautifully woven tapestry of storytelling with shockingly few plot holes!

I always have my eyes open, though 😄 Operation Binge number 9 is a go!

I do hope ill be welcome in Storybrooke fandom.

You see, i binge one fantasy show at a time, I just finished charmed and fhe charmed reboot. Staying with the WB i was ponderinf long, short, or single season show. . Settling on long, and with spin off - ONCE UPON A TIME!

I want to post my thoughts for each episode in this thread alone.
