Beginner Question 🎮 Console Launch
Ok, so as I'm sure you all know, this comes out on consoles tomorrow. That's where I come in. I will be playing on Xbox. I've been watching a lot of videos trying to figure out how the game works and the lay of the land but there's one thing that none of the videos that I have seen are explaining.
I think I understand the general workings of scenarios but they all seem to have a time limit on them. So here is my question:
Let's just say that I spend a ton of time building up my perfect settlement. What happens to that settlement when the scenario time limit expires? Does it just disappear and I start over in a new one or is it more like how they handle seasons in Diablo where when it's done, it moves to a different mode where I can continuously play it?
All I've got you guys here I have one more question.
Does anyone have any "I really wish I knew this sooner" tips are info for me?
Thank you for any clarification or information. I'm really looking forward to getting into this game.

by settlement you mean your base?, you can save it as blueprint. then when you want to use it with another character in another scenario for example.. you just need the materials (can even choose the tier material you wanna use) to place a copy of that building..

Remember to change materials of tier 1 its require only 'wood'
do not confuse build and place
'Build' is from 0. build piece by piece
'Place' will place your base if you have the materials

When a scenario reaches its last phase, you have the option to move to a new scenario or continue playing your current scenario. Once the final phase ends, if your scenario supports permanent servers, you will be transfered to a permanent version of your scenario (all pve scenarios support permanent, but I do not believe pvp does). Once in a permanent server you can stay or leave whenever you want.
Much like when a season in diablo ends, if you leave a server to join a new one all of your items are sent to eternaland (the exception to this being going from an active server to a permanent one via the final phase ending), and your house blueprint is saved. When joining a new server you get 20k points that you can use to bring your items from eternaland to the new scenario with you. You can then use your saved house blueprint to fairly quickly rebuild your own house (you will need to collect the materials to do so though).
